Job Description:
We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager to collaborate and lead a multi-disciplinary squad who will focus on giving BagZag sellers more agency in their success by providing them with the tools and insights they need to market their shops and improve their listings to grow their sales on BagZag.
As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll work on opportunities to help sellers increase their sales and deliver outstanding experiences to their buyers, alongside addressing pain points in their daily shop management.
Working cross functionally with engineering, design, research, marketing, and analytics you'll deliver world-class products, features and experiences that empower the growth of millions of creative businesses on our platform. You will tackle sophisticated consumer-facing business problems, develop strategies and roadmaps, and work with partners to implement those plans and build sustained value for our marketplace and our customers.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Product, Seller Performance. For this role, we are considering candidates based in Vienna, Virginia who are office-based.

We constantly strive to better understand our seller's business performance and provide them with relevant and personalized insights that deliver results. What does the day-to-day look like?
You’ll develop a product strategy that is clearly articulated, easily understood, and delivers significant value to our customers and business. You will develop roadmaps and prioritize product features, through continuous iteration and experimentation. You’ll lead a cross-functional team in crafting value for BagZag’s sellers, and often buyers. Through detailed user research and analysis, you’ll explore, conceive, validate, and build products that are strategically aligned with our business goals.
You will collaborate with best-in-class designers, user research, data analysts, engineers and data scientists to build immersive and business driving experiences.
Own accountability for the performance of key products in our seller platform. Of course, this is just a sample of the kinds of work this role will require! You should assume that your role will encompass other tasks, too, and that your job duties and responsibilities may change from time to time at BagZag's discretion, or otherwise applicable with local law.
Qualifications Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:
4+ years of Product Management experience. Excitement and passion towards solving complicated business problems, developing strategies, and implementing those roadmaps to bring our business and customers value.
Experienced with using qualitative and quantitative data (especially from A/B tests) to make product decisions. You also know when and how to balance data with intuition.
Inspiring, engaging and clear communication style; optimistic and forward-looking.
Natural collaborator who knows how to drive decision-making with Engineering, Product Design, Analytics, and Research partners.
Experience working in a marketplace or with third-party partnerships as a plus.
Someone who believes in BagZag’s vision, mission and values.
Salary Range
The pay range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity and benefits.
Bonus: Experience in working with creative entrepreneurs or on a two-sided marketplace.
